The convention is a great educational and social event — taking care of business, combined with fun! Convention activities include the annual General Membership Meeting and the Trophy Awards ceremony.

Dear CLCA Central Coast Members
Every season reminds us that landscapes are living, evolving things. Our industry is no different—we grow through the relationships we build, the knowledge we share, and the community we cultivate together. That’s what makes this chapter so special.
This month, I’d love to invite you to join us at a few upcoming events:
● Annual Liar’s Cup Golf Event — Friday, September 19 at DeLaveaga Golf Course. Come early for breakfast, a warm-up on the range, and a day of fun, prizes, and camaraderie. Open to all, so bring a colleague or friend. For more information and to sign up.
● Board Meeting & Annual Planning Session — Thursday, October 9 at the Laughing Monk Tap Room, Scotts Valley. Your input matters—this is where we set the tone for the year ahead.
And don’t forget the CLCA 2025 Convention, in Sonoma County this November, will be a highlight of the season—an incredible chance to connect, learn, and celebrate our craft together.

2025 Golf Invitational was a Big Fun Time!
Friday, September 19, 2025—Delaveaga Golf Course, Santa Cruz, CA
Scott Long put together a wonderful group of players this year. “The Liar’s Cup Invitational” golf event is 18 holes of fun in the sun, 4-person team scramble. There were cash prizes for the winning team, the longest drive, and closest to the pin. Arrive early to hit the driving range, have breakfast, and network with others in the industry. More socializing, food and beverages were available at The Grill and the Snack Shack (see photos below).
